Novamente surgem os rumores de que John Cena pretende deixar a WWE para seguir carreira como ator em Hollywood, seguindo assim os passos de Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Prevendo isso a empresa dos McMahon estaria preparando um acordo parecido com o de Brock Lesnar, onde Cena apareceria em apenas algumas datas do ano.
Cena já negou em entrevistas que deixará a WWE, mas, o fato é que essa chance existe e esta perto de acontecer.
